The McClean household has now gone from five to six with the introduction of their new baby daughter.
Mum and Dad posted a picture on their social media to let the world know that Baby Mia Rose McClean had arrived safe and sound and both she and mum are doing well.
The couple has three other children already, Allie May, James Jr and Willow Ivy.
But how did love blossom for these two before the others arrived? We look back at how they met.
Erin and James have been together for seven years, having first met in the Metro nightclub in Derry back in 2010.
In an interview with the Irish Daily Star in 2015, their best friend Rory O’Neill revealed that he had introduced them.
‘We were in the Metro nightclub in Derry when he saw Erin,’ he said. ‘I think he had his eye on her for quite a while.’
The couple got engaged in 2013 and married three years later in St Columba’s Church, Derry, followed by a reception at Drenagh Estate.
The couple’s honeymoon was postponed so that James could focus on the Irish team’s Euro 2016 campaign.
Erin regularly shares family snaps on her Twitter and Instagram accounts.
The nursing graduate is very supportive of her husband, often using her social media platforms to cheer him on and share her thoughts on the game.
The footballer and his wife announced they were expecting again back in July 2022 and went on to find out the sex of the baby.
They recorded the event and posted it online for everyone to join in.
And before we knew it baby Baby Mia Rose McClean was introduced into the world.
So with four children now we can bet that James is a pro when it comes to changing those nappies.
