Breaking Bad? No, more like breaking up for good as Aaron Paul drops some bad news on fans ten years on.

The actor reprised his role as drug supplier Jesse Pinkman along with Bryan Cranston as Walter White for a spoof ad for the Super Bowl but it looks like it was a one-off.

The hilarious ad sees the actors team up to promote a snack brand with a script that reads right out of the show.

The PopCorners is treated as ‘product’ from the series with gags like Walter resurrecting his famous line and telling Jesse they don’t eat their supply.

In another scene, the duo try to flog their snacks to Tuco Salamanca (Raymond Cruz) who also appeared in the early series of Breaking Bad and he drops another throwback quote: ‘Say their name.’

Slipping back into their roles was like riding a bike for Aaron who told People: ‘It’s easy to kind of zip on that skin again.

‘It’s just like revisiting a very familiar friend.’

The actors threw everything at the commercial to make it authentic and even the costumes were taken from the Breaking Bad wardrobe.

They also filmed the advert in the same RV from the set.

‘There was no phoning it in. We had meetings after meetings after meetings on the commercial,’ says Cranston.

He explained how they looked back at old scenes and changed the dialogue of the advert to make it match the original lines better.

The reaction to the advert has been phenomenal but fans hoping for a more permanent reunion will be disappointed.

According to Aaron: ‘I feel like this is sort of where we all kind of hang our hats, at least with the Breaking Bad universe.

‘And what a fun way to go out.’
