The most romantic day of the year is just around the corner and what better guest to have on the Late Late Show Valentine’s special than Maura Higgins?
A former contestant of Love Island, she knows exactly how to play the game of love. After all, she was marooned on an island with several single people, hoping to find a long lasting spark.
The RTÉ special has been running for several years, helping singletons to try and find ‘the one’ and venturing into some dos and don’ts when dating.
The audience will be filled with more than 200 singletons looking for their soulmate so all ears will be listening and eyes will be searching.
The Longford girl has had a very fruitful love life so far. She shot to fame on the TV reality show in 2019 and she made it to the final with her ex-boyfriend Curtis Pritchard.
The past few years have seen Maura enjoy great success, with her scooping big brand deals and event a presenting gig. She’s been linked to a few famous heads romantically such as Michael Griffiths, Chris Taylor and Strictly Come Dancing’s Giovanni Pernice.
Maura even shared a sneaky kiss with ladies’ man Joey Essex at the Pride of Britain Awards last year. And as you can guess, that got tongues wagging. But when it comes to the Irish girls and guys, she will sure to have her top tips to hand on the show on Friday.
Since January, the Late Late special has been looking for the most loved-up couple in the country to appear on the show and they will in turn win a romantic break away for two.
They will open up about their story and it will hopefully bring hope to those searching for their own person. And who knows, they may just end up sitting beside their future partner.
As Ryan says, this is a show ‘like no other.’ It will be one that is ‘wild and kind.’
