Things are being shaken up on this week’s Dancing With The Stars and we don’t mean in their usually jiving and Cha-cha-cha-ing way.
But how do you break such news to the public? The answer should be obvious…you get James Patrice and pro dancer John Nolan to bust a move.
The two made an impressive team jumping around the set and shaking what God gave them! No doubt John had a brilliant time trying to teach James the steps.
A personal favourite move from their announcement was when they both just lay face down. Why you may ask? We’ve pretty sure it’s the only step we could do!
So why were they having their own mini dance competition? Because this week on the show things are a little bit different than what we’re used to seeing on our screens when we tune in.
All was explained in the caption which read: ‘When you find out there’s NO ELIMINATION this week! We can’t WAIT for you to see our amazing couples and their dedicated dances.’
Basically, and amazingly, when you flick over to RTÉ on Sunday you can watch without the impending fear of saying goodbye to your favourite!
No doubt viewers will be crying for a whole other host of reasons as this day in the competition is notoriously emotional for the competitors and those at home alike.
Just to allow you to run out to buy tissues here’s a taste of what you can expect to watch: Panti Bliss will be dancing out of drag as Rory O’Neill dedicating his Paso Doble Professor Fiona Mulcahy, one of the first doctors who treated him when he was diagnosed with HIV in the 90s.
Equally as emotional will be Shane Byrne’s dance, as he is taking to the floor for his friend and former teammate Anthony ‘Axel’ Foley who suddenly died in his sleep in a Paris hotel.
