It seems unlucky-in-love Laura Anderson has finally found her happily ever after.

The Love Island star, 33, was given the run around by men since appearing on the show back in 2018. She was romantically linked to a number of other reality TV stars before she reunited with her long-time love Dane Bowers of Another Level fame.

But things went sour for the pair and Laura left their home in Dubai to return to the UK, where she decided to give love another shot on the reality TV show Celebs Go Dating last summer. It was here she met TV star Gary Lucy, who was instantly smitten by the blonde.

Laura made him graft for her though, and graft he did… The pair have been happily loved up ever since and have just announced that they are expecting a baby together!

Laura announced: ‘Our hearts are full Baby Lucy due Summer ‘23’.

Friends and followers were quick to pass on their well wishes to the excited new mum-to-be. Maura Higgins said ‘Congratulations 😍😍❤️❤️❤️’, while fellow Love Island alum Faye Winter said ‘Congratulations beautiful 🤍 so happy for you’.

This is the first baby for Laura, who has always been very open about her desire to be a mum.

Dad-to-be Gary already has four kids with his ex-wife Natasha, from whom he split last year.

Gary originally found fame as Luke Morgan in Hollyoaks before leaving the show in 2002 to pursue other roles. He also starred in Footballers’ Wives, The Bill and Casualty before having a go at Dancing On Ice. He returned to Hollyoaks in 2017 after a 15-year hiatus.

Just recently, he joked that he had nine lives after a horror car crash on St Stephen’s Day in which his car was completely destroyed.

In one of the pictures, he wrote that ‘someone was watching over’ him and when you see the missing front half of his car you too would believe it’s a miracle that he walked away with just an injured knee.

Laura rushed straight to the hospital to be by his side after the traumatic accident.

She made sure her 1.4 million followers knew he was okay by posting a video of Gary pulling faces while he walked with crutches.

Laura can be heard saying: ‘Happy Boxing Day. We’ve had a lovely time, how are you feeling on your morphine?’

Gary looking a little bit dazed but still happy replied ‘pretty f**king good to be fair,’ before Laura turns the camera to his knee to show off his newly acquired brace.
